Maximize all his attributes to the 50 cap by playing him. Earn the Diamond Archetype in RTTS by doing every path upgrading from Bronze to Silver to Gold & finally to Diamond. You also need to either pull from packs or buy in the market the 4 Diamond perks to suite you C's play style best. As well equip him with the best Diamond Gear which gives the most attribute gains where needed most. This all together is what will have him be a 94 to 96 Diamond.

Can you get a CAP to 99? I have my CAP at 95 now, just wondering if it pays to keep trying to improve him. Some stats are not at 50 yet, so wondering how bringing all stats to 50 will bring him.

Last time that was possible was in 19. SDS stopped CAP's being maxed out to 99 (or more with Equipment gear) in every attribute because they felt it was taking away from the lure of content to be played for rewards in BR & Events. Also many were complaining how they were annoyed by CAP's being exploited as a cheese. So SDS made changes to prevent a CAP from being fully maxed out. The highest you could get a CAP via maxing his 50 cap in all attributes & using Diamond Archetype, Perks & Equipment Gear is to 94 to 96. This allows many content cards being released to be better overall then a CAP. However it is still your choice if you want to use your 94 to 96 Cap instead of any other card in it's place.

You can get any cap to a 99. Not much of a difference from a 95 to a 99 though. Cap is and will be the best player at any position for the whole year regardless of which cards are released.

I made a catcher cap. Just selected the position. I don't use him anymore, changed mine to second base, but my catcher was low 100's contact and power with 98 defense depending on my load outs.

You are wrong. Not sure where you get all that from. I have a 99 LF and a 99 catcher both. Had a 99 last year too. Not 99 in every attribute, but overall. My LFer has 125 power from each side and 110 contact from each side.

It pays to improve him. Especially during 2x XP week. Even if you are done with the diamond program. Get to 50 in the most important attributes for whatever you want him to do best. He will be the best player on your team for a long time.
