Supercharge Ohtani
-
3-4, 2 HR, 5 RBIS, but mainly for his first grand slam AND being the cover boy. Almost seems like a sure thing
-
Pete Alonso had basically the same line the other day and didn't get super charged. His was a 3 run HR and he's not the cover athlete tho. I feel like they pick random things for supercharge. Like an 8 RBI game which is super impressive but RBIs have no effect on attributes
-
Like POTM, they won’t supercharge a high diamond.

I don't know if that is necessarily true. They supercharged Vlad Jr. Earlier in the year

I feel like they're more likely to pick a lower tier card over a high gold or a diamond. Ohtani having 2 homeruns in a game isnt a huge deal because we know he can do it and he'll probably do it more than once this year. But if someone who's rated 59 overall in the game has 2 homeruns and 5 RBIs its kinda big because its not expected.
Its the MLB The Show version of a participation trophy. Everyone gets to be king for a day....or in this case, 2 days.
