Lack of content

It's been about a month since the game was released, and I still feel like there is an overall lack of content in the game. The conquest maps, programs, etc. all don't take very long to do... From the day the game came out I've gotten any new content completed within the first day or two of it being released, and then I'm stuck having nothing to do but play events, RS, or flipping cards.
I've been doing the events but it's hard to find the motivation to do them when it's significantly faster to get the card rewards by flipping cards as opposed to playing the games.
Once the first program was completed super early, I had pretty much nothing to do but flip cards. I completed all live series collections doing this, but flipping cards gets so dull that after awhile I just couldn't do it any longer.
I hit a couple big sportsbetting parlays, and admittedly used some of the winnings to buy some packs so I had SOMETHING exciting to do... I wanted to be NMS this year and get all live/flashback collections done that way but the game is just so dull and there's so little to do that I gave in.
At this point from flipping cards and selling everything I've pulled in packs, there's only about 8 or 9 cards in the game that I don't have. Which I thought would be fun... but it's been extremely boring....
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm missing when there were ultra-grindy programs... no matter what you thought of the mindless grinding, you at least had something to do. I like the new program, but the only way to really earn anything towards it right now is events or RS. I look forward to playing this game after work every evening, but right now I'm not even sure what I'm going to do in the game tonight.
You guys can rip me apart for buying some packs (I didn't buy a ton...) but the lack of content in the game is a real issue.

I don't see the lack of content.....there is plenty. But I do wish TA was still a thing, or something similar bc you felt like you were playing with purpose between conquest maps, showdowns and smaller programs

At this point the content is the same as last year. TA not being included only really impact the 1st month of the game but of you have been playing since day 1 you would have TA 1 done in one months time easily.
There is plenty of content to play you have chosen to run through it as quick as possible and are not interested in Playing other aspects of the game. That falls on you and not SDS.

You know I definitely think you've been right about a lot and I freely admit that saying this game had no content was an early overreaction. But, TA was a massive program that could stretch over weeks even months if you let it. I agree there are ways you can do that with this year's content, especially if Mini Seasons ever works for everyone. Many people raced through TA because they had to be the first to finish. But some of us sat back and enjoyed it and it certainly provided way more rewards than this year.
With that said, I really like the adjustment they did with the featurec program this month making it longer and loaded at the end with packs. That's a huge W. Also, the Monthly program looks like it'll be a lot of fun. Lastly, a lot of this hinges on Mini Seasons, if it works and they add missions and differentiate the rewards, I think this year could match last in content..

How am I supposed to make a conquest map with 10 three-inning games last 3 or 4 days? How about one showdown?

Instead of usa conquest... world conquest.. oceans too.
6000 hexes 200 strongholds. Every country has a boss you unlock once you've finished conquering the country. You have to beat the boss in hall of fame.
World boss. The whales on legend.

Did you go out of your way to make team affinity take a longer period of time last year? It seemed to me that anyone that tried could get team affinity done in a weekend fairly easily.

That’s the content. The fact that you finish it quickly doesn’t negate that.

Play a different mode? RTTS makes good progress on the programs. MTO has multiple chances at XP boosts. I personally love how they did it this year.
