It says player, not pitcher. I highly doubt they would show Mad [censored] with a bat in his hand, unless he was hitting bombs.

Yes, him and his career .103 batting avg.
Um, he was awarded the Silver Slugger Award in 2015. Among others he has won in his career.

All I saw was his 103 avg. He does have some pop at the plate though.
Correction on my earlier post: He won Silver Slugger in 2014 and 2015. And to add, he hit two home runs on Opening Day in 2017. And his career average, according to Google, is .177. Not a slugger's average, but it's more than .103. (I'm assuming that's this year.) I seem to recall hiting a home run with him in this game, though not this year.
