So I am on Xbox X and can't seem to even get in a co-op game

I have almost every card in the game. I try to connect. The one time I actually made it into a game of 3 on 3 I had put in 99 Frank Thomas, 99 Clemente, and 99 Randy and the guy I was playing with hit Clemente like 8th while I think half the hitters were golds . I think he used Menoah instead of 99 Randy Johnson, who is the most dominant SP in the game if you use him correctly. And then the game disconnected after one batter anyway. Other than that I have been unable to even get a co-op game to work . WTH is wrong with the mode????
