Dealing with inconsistency/slumps
-
Ok. So I'm typically a World Series player. But I find there are times I either play down to my competition in lower levels, or just for what ever reason, start playing bad for a few game stretches. And I'm not talking about the unlucky squared up lineouts. I mean bad inputs on pitches and leaving hangers. Being late on meatballs I should put a good swing on. Or dropping/raising PCI too much and getting popups/DP balls. What do you guys do when you start getting into a funk and not playing to the level you can, and not let it snowball?

We all have bad stretches or the frustration gets us out of our game; but you have to factor in the inconsistency of the timing windows from game to game. I can be early on DeGrom’s FB one game and late on Sutton or Fernando’s screwball the next. That drives me mental.
