There's no hope

For online play this year.
No need to be good at locating pitches, no need to be good with zone hitting, just load in and enjoy the ride. Don't worry about timing, don't worry about physics, don't worry about 100mph fastballs up and in, the game will bloop those into the opposite field for you. Most importantly, don't worry about those changeups in the dirt you swing at everytime, eventually the game will force one to be only 4 inches below the zone and you will get a super early or late swing homerun. Sliders that dang near hit your back foot... not a problem.. Those are just foul balls this year, swing away!
Also I might just suck

Preaching to the choir.
-
I find it helpful when my teammates alert me to changeups with a loud bang.
-
Or kick out of the server, crashing and lagging

Its actually a really simple fix: remove outer PCI. It won't fix early/ late homers, or exit velos on good PCI placement, but both of those things I have gotten used to over the years. Tbh I don't even mind the bloops that bad. Its just the foul balls for me
-
I don’t think it’s a coincidence the gameplay is this way the same year the game is released for Nintendo.

There's too many good hits on balls out of the zone

From what I’ve noticed, the bloops are coming from outer pci hits more often than inner. Removing outer pci would tone them down also I believe.

Online play (even in friendly games) is atrocious.
Timing is all over the place. We're all fouling off stuff we have no business reaching, and BTW, timing is all over the place.
I see the correlation with switch platform being playable, that certain aspects were "dumbed down" to handle the processing by legacy switch consoles. Might as well have released this for mobile.
Playing vs the CPU is fine. Anything else including moments is different than any year prior, and not in a good way.

I’m not sure that would work at as well as many people assume it would, but maybe.

Probably not but I do think its worth a shot

Too true. It’s been like this for a few years already, don’t blame the Switch launch. The game is just not worth the competitive energy, sweat or stress.
You’re right OP, can’t worry about any of those things because there is no learning curve to actually improve fundamentally and it’s all random.
I don’t care about my 1-5 record in RS or 4-2 record in Online Rated. It’s all BS.

I think their argument would be that it makes the vision attribute obsolete and therefore don't want to implement it. But I have a fix for that too! Higher vision should allow for larger timing windows. That would also be a great incentive to use the high vision, high contact guys.

I just won a RS game 3-0. 2 of the runs were on a Devers perfect perfect HR. Other than that I could only scrape together 1 run on non-perfect hits.
My opponent got 2 hits, 0 runs. Idk why SDS makes it all or nothing. Either you hit a bomb, or it’s a lazy fly out.
I started using circle contact swing more and got a few base hits including an RBI on the aforementioned third run.
It’s to the point where I don’t know if it’s RNG, connection, swing type, card attributes. There’s no way to evaluate what works. SHRUG

It is awful. I wish pitcher confidence would just go away, it has way too much affect on the hit result. I worked at chipping away at some event wins today, it felt like baseball purgatory.

Playing vs the cpu is amazing, but I can't keep wasting stubs buying the event rewards lol. Today I spend most of my day playing MTO for the first time, what a joke that is.

I'm so glad I haven't spent any extra money on this game as I had in previous years..
