Link issue, help needed

So I went to link my Xbox and did the steps, the show account on my cpu confided it t was linked
After choosing the main profile, but the screen on the Xbox did not change like it said it would and after backing out, and restarting, account is not showing my info ( but still says linked).

Any help would be appreciated.
