3 Inning Games Pitching Stamina

It makes very little sense to have pitching stamina in short games deplete at the same accelerated rate as ever before since every pitcher MUST pitch to 3 batters or end the inning. Relief pitchers especially should revert to their 9 inning game rate of energy depletion. It’s so dumb that they didn’t consider this.

or they could go to a pitch count, 20 for starter and 10 for pitchers out of the pen before they become tired.

I played a conquest game today and brought in Kenny “well punch me in the face with my own fist” Giles, and after two pitches a dialogue box popped in that said “Ken Giles is getting tired”. Wait what? I hadn’t used him in awhile so it wasn’t an energy thing.

Yeah so why was he tired after two pitches haha?! Visual bug or gameplay bug I guess.

Yeah that would be better. Or have the stamina deplete at a slower rate for the first 3 batters before going to the current accelerated rate after that. You shouldn’t be forced to stick with a guy for 3 batters if he’s running on fumes by the end of the first batter.
