Is it capped at 60 hz or 60 fps? There’s a difference. Also we know the game can run at 120 hz on ps5 because it works offline.

I believe you’re right. No way they would have half of the player base, or more, play at a disadvantage. It wouldn’t be fair IMO.
It’s already not fair for ps5 owners. I don’t wanna turn crossplay off because I wanna face the best of the best on both consoles. What’s the point of even having one if we can’t take advantage of the power. They can’t wait for the majority of the player base to have a next gen console while Xbox has had it since 21. Anyone would feel the same way if they had one.

I don’t personally care as I have both ps5 and the x but I have to think that’s their line of thinking. You can’t cater to the few people that have a somewhat difficult to attain piece of hardware. I’m certain they have tons of players on ps4 and the Xbox one. Until these next gen consoles are readily available, I have a feeling you’re getting capped at 60. I’d be more than happy just to play against people that have next gen hardware because the games are much smoother in my experience. Since sds is silent regarding these issues, and nobody’s ever confirmed there’s a distinct advantage from using a series x, I’m personally led to believe we’re all playing at the same level.

If they do enable 120Hz, gonna be some returned Xbox Series X returns Monday lol. Why so many people went nuts and jumped the gun when PS finally made a step forward and added VRR I have no idea. I bought my Series X a few weeks having no idea it did 120 hz on this game, just bought it because I found it at MSRP with no junk added on as a bundle. You really think there’s no difference? There truly is brother. Also top players moving from ps to Xbox says enough. When you break it down I think yes your capped at 60 fps but getting 120hz. Which is why it feels smoother and has better input. It might say 120 fps but it’s probably duplicating 60fps. I know some have said that too because they have a pc and can tell it’s not 120 fps.

Also this is only a next gen update so who knows what they have up their sleeves. If they enable it for ps5 I think they could easily make it to where it’s only next gen vs next gen for online because that’s how it is for playing at created stadiums already. We’ll see.
