96 Joe Mauer can't receive or block all of a sudden????

Has anyone else been having problems with 96 Joe Mauer or any other catcher not being able to block the ball or receive pitches. Pretty much every breaking ball goes right by him and fastballs he drops. It's like he's out of position at catcher. I only started noticing this last night.

For me it's not that they can't block, as much as they stand still picking their nose whenever they do let a ball get by. I seriously was doing everything I could to move JT and he stood there while the AI went from first to third. The ball was a solid 3 feet away from JT and he could've thrown him out had I had any control

Well my catchers aren't receiving pitches or blocking balls in dirt. So I can't play the event, BR, or ranked seasons. And I can't play conquest because my wins against strongholds aren't counting. The update this morning did nothing.
