So I completed the Face of the Franchise program like 10 days ago or maybe even more. Online games are so random, it's really not a lot of fun. I am on XB series X - I used to play on PS when it was PS exclusive.....but the online experience has been poor. gameplay is random , pitching is random....etc. I tried cross platform and keep getting DC'd (not my internet-I am running a direct ethernet to my XB at speeds over 600MPS).
So I tried Co-Op...there's terrible lag, I put in 99 Frank Thomas, 99 Clemente, and 99 Big Unit and half the time whoever is making the lineups don't even use all my guys and go with mid tier diamonds.....and most of the time the games get DC'd so there's another feature I can't use and enjoy.
Then I started Mini-Seasons but stopped before the playoffs because apparently SDS hasn't fixed the Mini Seasons file corruption issue once you get to the playoffs...so I can't complete a Mini-Season.
Have done all the conquests....
Have all the LS collections, got very lucky pulls during early access ( 3 Acunas, 5 DeGroms, Trout, like 10 Sherzers,)...Spent some $$$ but basically was able to complete the collections.
600,000 starts/points was really easy to get to and I am glad because I was able to complete it but there should have been other programs worth doing. All of the other programs were there just to get XP for Faces of the Franchise...No point in even doing to cover athlete program...
I really hope they release more interesting and desirable programs and fix the gameplay and cross platform DCs.

While I get where you are coming from, completing the cover athlete program gets you a card towards mauer or 25k+ stubs. The astros and Nationals city connect I agree there is no point in fully completing them but the Brantley and Rendon cards are useful for future collections

Already have Mauer (great card by the way). I have all of the cover athletes already, I really wanted that Mauer card. This was before the program even dropped.

Wow thanks for taking the time to try to guess what I did, my motives for doing so, etc. I am flattered that you took such an interest. Usually people who comment on others who spend any money on stubs or in game content are just jealous and resentful. Hopefully you aren't either of those, but frankly it's none of your business what I do with my money,

I am making an optimistic assumption that you are genuinely asking and not hating that I spent some $$$ (lots of NMS people who get jealous and resentful of money spenders on here- side note, without money spenders, NMS players would not be able to afford half the cards they do now -supply and demand and all that) ......For real, not that I need to explain myself, but for the last 45 years I have loved collecting cards, real and virtual......so for me I like having extra stubs to buy cards I want. Can't play hours and hours in events to earn every card because I have to run my business and support my family so sometimes I have to buy cards that cannot be pulled, and that i don't have time to earn with flawless BR , 20 wins, etc. I am obsessed with collecting every card I can.

IMO most NMS guys do not care if others spend money, It really does not matter what people do with there money, I do not get it. I do not spend to much extra on this game, I have the time to play. Not everyone has the time, some people just have the money to do so. It really should not matter if you spend money or not.

I don’t think they really cared that you spent the money, they were trying to figure out your complaint in the first place. Not a lot of time to play, buys packs and cards to acquire everything instead of grinding and just playing the game, complains about lack of content???

Oh, I could care less what people do with their own money.
If you got those pulls in free packs, you shouldn't have needed to spend any money. The only way you can do collections is spend money, flip or get insanely lucky with pack pulls. I play this game a lot and had a 12-1 run that netted me DeGrom and if I sold everything I had I still wouldn't be done with the NL. I haven't bought any packs either. Did buy Price, Yelich and Pujols. Not getting them in packs.

- You said you spent money and pulled 19 90+ overall diamonds. You pulled them which means you didnt buy them off the market. It doesn't take a genius to know they didn't all come from a 10 pack. No one is that lucky, therefore you bought a lot of packs.
Everything I said ( which wasn't much) was reasonable and likely correct. You may want to work on that Napoleon complex if you're going to stick around the forum long term.

Minor details but between the city connect/houston/nats programs they all give you bat skins/jerseys/logos that are unsellable and can be safely collected for like 5 pack bundles or a ballin pack something like that. Plus like you said -- free flashback type card for future collections
Basically very small stub influx+free packs. Not a lot really but if youre like me and don't want to buy packs...free packs are always welcome for a random shot at a diamond.

There are very few people that complain about opponents buying teams, and more often than not they're some newbie complaining that their opponent had a "team full of diamonds", while not realizing you could do that for free within a day or two if you know what you're doing.
For the most part, no one cares when people spend money. Personally, I LOVE when people spend a ton of money. They keep funding SDS so I don't have to, they are more likely to buy now and sell now which allows me to flip, and they rip a ton of packs which keeps the market active. That's a win in my book.
