I was very critical of patch 1.04 so here I am saying thanks for getting us out of that mess. Pitching was definitely improved and hitting felt a lot better. All about that timing window....

This is the problem with a RNG based hitting system. Its like they're using the same system they developed years ago because they don't want to design a new one. With technology at where it is they need to design a physics based system that simply puts the bat on the ball so to speak. Make the PCI bat shaped with a "sweet" spot. Then make the ball react off the batt based off where it hits on the bat, the angle, and the timing of the swing. [censored] in the sweet will result in good contact/higher chances of hits, while [censored] outside the sweet spot would be okay/bad results with a low result of hits. At least then user input would matter and we could see why out ball was or wasn't a hit. Feedback is useless in the current system because it doesn't match up with the result.

I truly believe the patch did almost nothing. You will still gang pitches on perfect release (maybe it’s a tad bit better). But worst of all they didn’t fix the god [censored] fielding. Just played a RS and Acuna got locked into an animation to catch a routing fly ball in center but the ball was clearly landing 2-3 feet to the left of him. Guy gets a double out of it
