Staring at the Catcher...SDS needs to fix

Anyone else have a pitching career in RTTS and notice every time a ball is put in play your pitcher just stares at the catcher? Moving the joystick just makes pitcher run in any direction instead of just moving his body to react which is even dumber.
In the next patch I'd like SDS to fix this and have your pitchers AI react to where balls are put in play and watch a fly ball into the outfield or watch your infielder field a play.

Yes, the tapping the joystick to turn the pitcher around sending the pitcher running 15 feet drives me crazy too. I logged a bug report for that last week, hope I’m not the only one.
Also a minor related thing but if you’re moving your player after a play he seems to keep moving on his own when control is taken away from you, like in the below clip.

My CF ran from the outfield on a missed pop up to home plate backstop wall in slow motion drove me bananas and the runner had an inside the park HR
