Any fixes for CE-108255-1?

To start, its my brother having this issue, so I am just passing any information along. Game crashes whenever connecting to any online features. My hunch is that its due to corrupted ballplayer data or something of the sort since other games aren't effected and other accounts can connect on the same console without any problem. Tried all the recommended PSN support fixes and such. Game is causing it for sure. Any fixes out there that work or is he SOL until SDS does something?

If you search the error through the console; what comes up?
Has he tried to relicense the game?
