Stop the complaining and learn the game. We’ve come a long way from center pci Good/Good timing weak groundouts. Not every pitch is going to go exactly where you want it. Not every perfect/perfect is going to be a HR. This is baseball simulation at it finest.

This is the best gameplay yet and this is coming from a year in year out full game grinder. Tired of all the bellyaching going on around here. Learning to hit is not easy. Go into batting practice on Legend against Randy and don’t leave until you can see time the fastball and lay off the breaking pitches.

Sorry this is not a well thought out rant after mindless grinding of events all night but all the “issues” I’m seeing posted are mostly lack of understanding of this game. Sure there’s always going for be something slightly wrong, nothing’s perfect, but c’mon guys this game is FIRE!

Please come at me with all you’re problems that are the games fault and have “nothing” to do with your user input.

I love it when people tell me to learn the game.

Your post was one of the reasons for this rant.

Figured, that's why I replied. You can tell me you disagree with all the points I made but you can't tell me with a straight face to learn the game.

Your right, I don’t understand how non PCI nukes are possible.

I also don’t understand why they keep feedback in the game if it’s inaccurate.

Since your implying that you understand the game, please explain.

Bc not every HR irl is squared up- and then depending on the batter and his power yes balls can go out of the park not being totally squared up

You are correct. Pete Alonzo can mishit a ball out of the park where someone like Whit Merrifield can't. However, During my laggy rs game last night, my cap with 99 power hit an almost center pci good swing to left field at Laughing Mountain. Either the laggy servers were giving me the wrong information (even though that is where my pci was) or the game did not reward my good swing. Either is not correct. I highly doubt if we were in the studio testing and I did this that this would be the outcome.

Timing of your swing is just as important if not more important that PCI placement.

Are you saying the only outcome possible for your swing should be a hit bc of your PCI placement? That is an unrealistic expectation if so

Well I’ve been playing for years, RS record last year was 74-11, so I think it’s fair to say I’ve “learned” the game. And I can attest to this years online gameplay being complete garbage thus far.

Okay, well based on the title of this thread and your comments you're more than likely just another troll looking for some clout. And I'm not gonna give you any more. Like Connor McGregor once said "who the fook are you?"

In 80+ events games I’ve experienced only 3 freezes and no issues besides that. Best online experience for release ever personally.

I’ve given up a couple out of zone hits that were squared up and hit hard but that’s easily possible in real baseball if you square up a ball. MLB players hit balls as HR ALL THE TIME. Go watch quick pitch

3 freeze offs in 80 event games is still way too many....

Good timing swing almost center of pci should be a hard hit ball EVERY time. Yes, some will be right at someone but I shouldn't consistently have good timing almost middle of the pci swings be a routine fly ball.

If a pitch is on the inside half and you’re even slightly late you have a much higher chance for result to be a pop up. Same for outside half and slightly early

So if I were to redownload MLBTS 21, 20 and maybe even 19 and took a peek at the leaderboards to find your records, batting averages and other stats that would paint an accurate picture on your skill level, I would find that you are indeed a skilled player?

Bold of you to assume that only people who are bad at the game are complaining. These issues are not about people complaining they get bad input. People are having good input and not getting rewarded consistently while they face people who swing at everything off the plate and getting bloop hits or homers. If you can’t even admit there are some glaring issues that need to be fixed then you have gone full sheep and are a lost cause.

Nobody is disagreeing with that. Nice straw man. People are complaining about things like sliders so far in that it is impossible to hit homers the way a lot of people do. There are thousands of examples but you chose to focus on one situation where someone is slightly late and then act like those kinds of things are what people take issue with.

This is the same gameplay with as previous years but better. That is all I’m trying to say. Yes the game has its issues (just like every year) but these issues do not interfere enough with user input results to constantly complain. These issues are not “glaring” compared to previous versions of the show.

I’ve hit plenty of HR on slightly early swings on way inside sliders with Soto. Just like it possible in real life for him to do. Why should we take this out of the game if it’s actually possible to do with a well timed swing?

Not sure if it's the best version, because I've only played a few years now... but definitely the least issues at launch I have seen and think hitting has been better than a lot are saying it is right now. I'm enjoying the game a lot this year and hope it continues throughout the baseball season. We just need to realize that this is an attempt at Sim baseball and in real base ball every good swing isn't a homerun and every bad swing isn't a strike so don't expect that in the game and it's more fun. The game imo would be dull if every pitch hit its spot and every perfect hit goes for a 450 footer... baseball is really a lot of luck involved and should be in the Sim game too. I've gotten absolutely smashed by great hitters this year while pitching well and usually lose to better players so user input is not non-existent like some claim. No game is perfect and if you play expecting it to be perfect... it's going to be hard to get enjoyment out of it.
