I’m getting R2’d more in ‘22 than ever before, so I’m wondering if perhaps there’s some other element that is causing the same effect. Is it possible that when someone is setting up their PCI lock, that it automatically has that R2 effect on the person who is pitching?

Online is just trash. Top that off with timing only contact swings being the new meta and is super trash. Back to mini seasons and building a God squad for no reason.

It's just people being toxic. My opponent was doing it to me, then I hit a few bombs off him after giving him a taste of his own medicine and then I messaged him saying "not cool if someone R2s you huh" to which he replied "well, stop quick pitching me". And I was just casually pitching out of the wind up, not slidestepping or pounding pitch after pitch without taking a breather. These people use this sentence to justify their toxic behavior. It's even worse when they are actually tapping the R2 button to catch your pitching rhythm to mess it all up.

I wish they would get rid of R2 and just have the pitches, confidence and energy just displayed.
