Latest Conquest Map

Yes, they definitely adjusted stamina. Wish they would adjust gameplay. My team of 90 rated players in another series of tense, sweaty games this time against the Cubs!!!
Never score in the first inning. Hardly score in the second. Get all my runs usually in the third inning or extra innings.
Same scenario each time I play a conquest game. It’s like the games are “supposed” to be close.
Oh and this is on Vet.

Yeah, I haven’t noticed any improvements in conquest. I played one mini season game and it counted my win as a loss again and I gave up. I am 12-2 and it shows 7-6. Shame on me for continually playing and assuming they figured out how to actually score the outcome correctly.

Yeah, as if on cue….
Just took cubs stronghold with a 3-0 win in extra innings. Again, the cubs. Again, a 90 rated starting lineup. Oh, and I needed an error to get the last two runs.
It is not fun nor relaxing.

Have gotten server disconnects on 3 conquest games tonight. Yay.
Shout out server team.

I had to put the Conquest map away for now. When my all 90’s batters are struggling to score runs against their 5th starter on rookie or vet, hitting is simply broken.
Please SDS fix this soon.

I don't want to be this guy, but hitting isn't broken. I had no problem scoring tonight on that conquest map and I played most of my games on all-star. I'm not great by any means either. Maybe be more patient? I have games like you describe when I swing at nearly everything.

Are you talking about the whistle you get after eight pitches or the pitcher's gassed after eight? Most of my starters can throw 20 before completely running dry.
Relievers for me are the biggest gripe when it comes to stamina warnings. -

You said a mouthful there, patience. People, myself included, swing like animals because we think "oh, it's just veteran", but if you slow down you will do better. And this isn't me saying hitting wasn't nerfed, it definitely was, but I'm still pimp slapping the cpu on rookie/veteran.
To OP, what I do is pretend that every batter is a zero contact zero power pitcher and it helps me to only swing at the good pitches. Because on lower difficulty a meatball is coming. Good luck buddy hope you can get back to enjoying offline play!

I am constantly baffled when good players complain about having tense games on Veteran.
I have only taken three strongholds so far, all on veteran. All using live series Adam Wainwright (79 overall) as my pitcher
Beat the Cubs 3-1 and outhit them 7 to 3
Beat The Cardinals 8-2 and outhit them 8-3
Beat the Twins 5-1 and outhit them 8-2And I am decidedly not a good player. I never play online. I only play the CPU above veteran if required for a mission. I use zone hitting but leave my PCI centered the vast majority of the time and wait for mistake pitches.
I am actually shocked I allowed that many runs. I may need to give up on Wainwright as his H/9 isn't the highest and his SO/9 is pretty low.

It's a mental thing just like anything else in life. You do somthing 1000 times then then one day your brain decides to overthink it. Happens to everyone in one way or another.

I want to echo what everyone has said. I definitely have been struggling and feeling like something is different. I went on 21 where I was raking and sure enough, my timing was awful. Mix that with the fact that my team is no longer insane 99s but golds and low diamonds for 22. So I tried to be more patient and within a few games, I erupted for 12 in 1 inning against the Braves who I always suck against.
Just focus on getting your pitch. I'm not saying you're wrong but I imagine you'll break out again soon.

Rookie was definelty easier last year tho. I remember every Conquest game, in order to not fall asleep, I would see who on my team could hit the ball the furthest. I would consistently hit 3-4-5 HRs in a row. Last year on rookie it was like they floated changups right down the middle once an at bat.

I don't know man, I scored 9 against the Cubs in the first inning on All-Star.
The game works fine. I find maybe focus isn't 100% sometimes against the CPU. That's probably the issue you had.

You guys should play on all star, I encountered the same troubles on lower as all star, on all star hitting is a lot better
