Stealing bases

Is anyone else having a hard time stealing bases this year? It does not matter how big a lead I get or how perfect a jump I get I can not steal

It definitely seems harder. One weird thing I noticed is I had like high 80's speed and statcast said my max speed was ~18 mph, but then another guy on my team has a low 80's speed but had a max speed of ~20 mph. The steal stat may actually be tied into it this year? If they slide step I'm definitely just screwed unless the throw is bad.

I have a fast CF with a 98 rating, with perks. I make it maybe 2 out of 5. I use a big lead and looks like he's fast but gets thrown out time and again.

Same man I have 122 speed and 114 steal and get caught 8 out of ten steals
