And Home Run Derby is back…
-
The game get like it was playing great up until today. I hopped on some ranked after work and the last two games have features 10 plus home runs..

Better than constant line outs or weak fly balls on good contact. I’ll take a HR derby every game instead of what we’ve had in the past.
-
lmao people really find anything to complain about

I’m still seeing lineouts and good pop outs quite a bit online, even worse in moments/offline modes.

Me too but not as bad as 18 and 19

19 was so bad in the beginning man, I remember I faced Nolan Ryan since he was an XP reward path card early, squared him up 90% of the game for 1 run and an insane amount of lineouts. Got messaged later saying “its Nolan Ryan you’re not going to get rewarded”. Then the game became free and the overall gameplay got better, weird.

I haven't really experienced that very much but this game is tailored to the content creators who make video after video complaining when they make contact that it's not a homerun

Not that it matters anymore but….I’d still like to know who’s idea it was for HR/9. They say they strive for realistic gameplay but that was probably the most unrealistic thing I’ve seen in this game.
The pitcher has an influence on keeping balls in the park? Like some kind of supernatural powers or something? How can the pitcher influence the outcome of a hit? Still waiting for SDS to explain it cause I just don’t get it.

Eh we’re 3 years past due on that explanation, I wouldn’t put too much thought in it. It was just carny stuff from sds at the end the day that got better in the years to follow.

Keep in mind everyone is playing below All Star so the PCI is the size of the strike zone wait until you get the Hall of Fame and tell me how many home runs you're hitting a game

That’s kind of why in my post about hitting I always leave what difficulty I’m on. I haven’t touched HOF and legend yet.

Those were initially for offlinee simulations and had no bearing online. Then the per 9s came into play online ( thought the removed hr/9 online tho) either way the stat is not relevant for online play, bc as you said “it’s a supernatural “ stat
