Roster Trades messed up again

Sorry long. Okay, I started a Pitcher with the Mariners. All team's rosters were updated and I even added Julio to the team. Started games and checked now and then on the current roster, mostly for pitchers. I made AAA before the break. Made the team in Sep. Here is what the program changed in the roster. Traded.. C-Murphy, 1st-France & Torrens, 2nd-Frazier, 3rd Toro. OF-Winker & J-Rod. ????? How does this make any sense? Also, the Mariners are sitting great with budget.They traded for lesser talent. Anyways, was wondering if something like this happened to anyone else. My catcher with Blue Jays made the team after 1.5 years. The roster changed getting rid of Jansen, Bichette, Espinal & Hernandez. They were all signed for a couple of years. I'm trying to figure if I have to make a custom roster and change player contracts or something. Yes, I can just play Franchise and do, but this seems excessive like it was last year.

Go into the sliders and just turn down trade frequency. I usually half what it sits at by default.

Sorry for the dumb question... doesn't that affect the experience? A warning comes up. Also, thanks for the answer if it doesn't negatively affect rewards.

It does change XP gain, but not archetype progression.
