I get the complaining thing, it is annoying and happens every year. I'm sure "I'm sorry" or "make up" packs will drop to those who bought early access. People do have a right to be upset. $25-40 more for three days early access means full three days. Its like paying for a 3 course meal and only getting the dessert. Everything else is under cooked.... Send it back to the kitchen
To be fair, it’s your choice if you want spend 25-40$ for early access.
They shouldn't be selling early access if they can't let people play reliably. It would be like me selling you a car that breaks down when you get on the highway and then I tell you "hey you bought the car".

But paying that extra money is supposed to get you value according to Sony's advertising. So you're not choosing to just pay more than others for the same thing, you're paying more to GET more, and if Sony doesn't pony up what they charge more for, there souks be make rights and compensation

Last years game took almost a month to work reliably.
If it’s this bad during early access, just wait until it’s up on game pass and has a general release. IIRC last year didn’t have many issues (at least for me) during the early access period and was a complete mess on traditional launch.
It’s screwed up but you’re basically playing SDS to be big testers right now.

But this argument is irrelevant if we are shelling out an extra $40 for EARLY ACCES… if it’s not playable early then that shouldn’t even be an option

I, and I assumed others, get early access for the higher pack odds (less people playing, and they have to populate the market).
No extra money spent, I got trout and 95 Pujols, along with lots of other diamonds. So, I got what I wanted out of it.
If you actually think you’ll have a reliable game on launch, you must be new to the game. It’s NEVER stable, and last year was by far the worst it’s ever been.

The game is unplayable- did you ever spend money on something(food clothes etc) and the product was faulty- were you’re just ok with it?
This has nothing to do with immediate gratification

But they def have the time to complain about spending money for something and not receiving what they spent money on- which is much more reasonable imo

I agree that people do have choices. Disagree with it being the customer choice for not getting what they paid for. Are you okay with getting 500MB when your paid for 1GB? Or is that customer's problem for choosing to buy Internet. Maybe you like a toilet that only flushes 3 out of 4 times. I guess they didn't have to use that one...Get real.

It's a broken mess. Early access was smooth last year. The problems last year started with the full launch. I can only imagine how bad full launch will be this year.

You’re not getting it- no one is forced to spend
SDs says “hey guys we are offering 4 days early access of game play for an extra $40”
Those of us that are able to spend it and wanted early access paid the extra $40- and the game is unplayable
Where I come from- the adult world- that is paying for services that have not been delivered…
How you got “being forced to spend money” from that is beyond me

I can’t even stare at my team full of commons for 10 seconds before I get an error message.
I’m going to play because I love baseball and love collecting … but $40 extra bucks for early access is false advertisement.

Transparency goes a long way. People are more forgiving when they know the details. Maybe a DB corrupted and they are trying to restore it. Silence just makes it worse. If it was a free early beta it would be different tune. A fee for service is a totally different thing.
