What’s the point of trying when the game does whatever it wants with your input?
Perfect release pitch = down the middle crushed for a HR
Squared up hit = Good/Ok weak fly out with an exit velocity LOWER than the pitch speed. Impossible mind you.
Errors = what did I do to make it happen...NOTHING, the game made it happen.
Rewarding garbage hits = Time for a comeback rally.
Community begging for improvements = Not a word from SDS.
Game is the worst I’ve ever seen it.
-
Patch 1.05 on the way, i doubt it will fix your complaints tho...

That pitch wont fix enough. Read the notes.

Be nice if they got rid of the block on quick selling items we collected. Guess the figured they lost too much $ on Honus last year and took it away. Just another way to force stub purchases.

They made it so you can with dupes... they're just trying to make the content cycle last longer

Ok if people are going to mention me can we at least make sure it was something I said?

Lol why the hell dont they just revert to prepatch? These notes on the new update wont fix anything.SDS you are a complete joke

Why? Pre patch wasn't perfect at all, especially on the pitching accuracy side. 1.04 didn't create the hanging perfect release issue, it's been there since release.

I get that but if I had dupes, I would just sell the duplicate normal. We all have diamond and gold cards we will never use and only purchased them to complete a collection. Yeah you may not have gotten back everything you paid for a diamond but you knew you always had that 5k if you needed it. It was kind of like a stub bank to a certain degree and for player's like me and thousands of others who don't spend any money on stubs it just makes it that much more difficult to get the cards you need. I can see restricting gold quick sells as you get back nearly what you paid for it but very rarely will you come close to getting back what you paid for a diamond so lifting the restriction on quick selling those should be lifted IMO. Just seems like a way to force stub purchases to me.
Oh well, not like there aren't a host of other issues that need fixing as well.

Well that's not true, last year most LS diamonds fell to around 5k, only the big ones like Trout didn't. It wasn't a rare occurrence at all.
And I'd love to be able to quicksell and wish they didn't change it, but saying most diamonds didn't get close to the 5k quicksell just isn't true.

I swear Rendon was going for like 9-10k all year, which I couldn't understand because it was such a glitch of a card for an LS

Prob cause he got upgraded to a 90 overall if I'm remembering him right, made him a harder pull.

Did they acknowledge any of the MANY posts/comments leading up to this? Sometimes even a simple “hey we hear ya” can go a long ways.
Gameplay Tuning:This update includes adjustments to pitching and hitting based on analytics and community feedback.
In multiplayer games, slight increases made to pitch accuracy across all interfaces, including accuracy increases to perfect pitch inputs.
Remember that other than user input, the pitcher's BB/9 and difficulty setting standards remain the biggest factors in overall accuracy. If you hit perfect meter more often you'll benefit from this update more than someone who doesn't.Slight increases to exit velocities in competitive multiplayer.
Together, the end result should help pitchers hit their spot a little more and get slightly fewer meatballs, while batters don't lose offense overall due to the increased exit velo on balls they put in play.If you haven’t already seen the clarifications made to the 1.04 update notes, you can read them here.
Other Gameplay Fixes and Adjustments:
Fixed an issue where an Outfielder would not lock in when trying to set up for a routine high fly ball, which resulted in the user losing control of the player.
Button Accuracy with Throw Meter turned OFF was resulting in too many perfect throws. This has been fixed and adjusted for balance.
Fixed a rare occurrence with button accuracy where the ball would not go to the intended target.
When pulling back late on a bunt, batters were often hit with the ball. We’ve adjusted the animation times so this should happen less frequently.
Fixed a rare situation where base hits could erroneously be called a fielder’s choice.
Road to the Show:Fixed an issue where the weights would become stuck while playing the Squats and Strength mini-game.
Fixed various spelling errors and minor UI issues.
UI:Batter walk-up stats in Franchise, MTO, and RTTS are now properly displayed for the current batter.
Fixed an issue where the Pause Timer was not displaying when a user was reviewing their Bullpen in online games.
Swing/Pitch info will now not display when selected “off”.
Fixed an incorrect error message that was being displayed when trying to add a player from a pack that was already in your squad.
Various other minor UI corrections.
Misc:Fixed an issue where two-way players were causing year-to-year saves to not load correctly in Franchise and Road to the Show.
The trophy “Silver But It Feels Like Gold” should now unlock as intended.
Users will now be able to set a secondary position for a two-way player.
Various crash fixes. -

oh I wasn't trying to say that was high, I found that actually really low, felt like all last year that card should have been closer to 20k, but I don't think it surpassed 13k. I was using him last year until I got SS Donaldson.

That was way late in the season and even then most were running 7-9. However, that was the first time I remember of LS diamonds dropping that low and it was because SDS flooded the market with a "Signature Card" for every Tom, [censored], and Harry making all LS cards pretty much worthless. LS diamonds as a whole were never that low in years past but like I stated, even last year, LS diamonds didn't drop that low as a group until the 2nd half of the season.

They put further explanations in the patch notes and have been talking to people on Twitter. The game has a skill gap now. Once the bugs are fixed that will be the clear cut explanation. And don’t take this as me talking down, I’ve struggled as well. I have a fine record but I’ve had to claw my way to it.

And you don't think SDS is going to drop high rated cards all over the place this year? Because I bet they will, LS will become irrelevant like it always does.
Also, it wasn't late in the year when that happened, most were around there a little after the mid-way point. You could do most collections and get roughly 75%-90% of your stubs back.
Like I said, to me that's fine, but it obv wasn't to SDS.
