Will Seiya Suzuki be in the game day 1?
-
He obviously hasn’t played a game in the MLB yet, and I recall this was an issue for the foreign player that came to the Reds last time.
-
If he's on the MLB roster or the 40-man (which both will happen), he will. He likely won't be at first launch, but after a couple roster updates.

I really hope they sit Jason Heyward for this guy.

I have a hunch Heyward will move to CF until he proves (again) he still can’t hit.

Shohei was in Day 1. Do we know if this new guy had Shohei’s management team?

He did sign a pretty signficant contract, that usually adds some motivation to include new players day 1.

Depends if and how fast he opts in to the MLBPA. Thats why Shogo Akiyama took so long to get in the game
-
AJ Puk played in the majors 3 years straight, was on the 40 man each year and just got into the game this year in one of the last roster updates. I’d imagine it’s all about when the player joins the MLBPA.
