Here is a little background on the situation. I’m playing the event and am down 1-0 after giving up a no doubter in the first inning. No biggie, it’s an offensive oriented event and homers are gonna be hit. Bottom of the second and I start putting up offense. I get to my pitcher whom I pinch hit for with Ohtani. I purposely put Ohtani on my bench for two reasons. First, he’s a good pinch hitter. And second I can sub him in as the relief pitcher. Ohtani does his job pinch hitting by cracking a bomb to dead center. After which I use him as the reliever. Which I’m sure most smart people are doing in this event seeings that pitching will be at a premium for this event. So in the third he gives up a bomb to Salvy on a high inside fastball that was out of the strike zone. I’m like ok you were waiting for that pitch so I’m cool with that but this guy decides let’s replay the homer. Now I normally wouldn’t care but why do it when you didn’t replay your first homer. Oh this guy wants to be toxic. He doesn’t like the fact I used Ohtani to pitch and he decided to start replaying homers. So I bear down and start pitching like I mean it. He begins striking out left and right and basically looking silly at the plate. Meanwhile he does the exact same thing I did by using Ohtani to pinch hit and then relieve. Which I’m completely fine with. Difference is I start raking his Ohtani. And you guessed it I replay all the homers back at him. He decides to dashboard. So what’s the moral of the story? Don’t act toxic if you can’t take in return. It was mildly satisfying to say the least.

Lots of speculation about what someone else is doing/thinking. I couldn't imagine caring that much about a video game, but hey man you do you.

I’ve done that with Ohtani just about every game so far so nothing wrong with that at all from my lens on your part. He’s the best eligible pitcher by far.

Yeah, thanks guy. Thanks for posting a wall of text giving us a play-by-play that no one really cares about. “So I bear down and start pitching like I mean it…” Get over yourself buddy. Stop wasting everyone’s time with this garbage.

This coming from a guy who in another forum complained about pitchers bunting. Guess I hit a nerve with that one.

I could care less about a replay of a homer if he was doing from the start. But when you start replaying homers halfway through the game because of what appears to be a strategy that your opponent is using, in this case Ohtani as a reliever, then you are acting toxic and doing just to [censored] the other person off. Now I wouldn’t think it had anything to do with Ohtani if the cheesehead had not dashboarded on like my third homer off his Ohtani with me replaying it. It’s all in the context of what is going on.

Oh I 100% agree, I wasn’t trying to do anything out of the rules or glitchy. But he apparently took it personal.

I guess it’s speculative but with how the game shook out in the end it seems that he was not happy with my decision to pitch Ohtani.

I had someone this morning just stop playing after I dropped several runs in the first. Didn’t quit. Just let it auto pitch until I had 34 and then started playing again for an inning before quitting. People are strange sometimes.

Just to play devil's advocate here the guy could also just be a shitty hitter and was amazed that he hit a bomb of Ohtani so they wanted to replay it.

Yeah I guess, but I not someone who believes in coincidences especially when it comes to this game and the guy had a record of like 120-60. So it’s not like he was a terrible player.

@KILLERPRESENCE4
O I'm sure it was just the guy being salty but for reference tho my record Is good and I'm an average to slightly below average batter at best. I just do really good with my pitching -
Nobody cares
