Why do people always try to read into things that aren’t there? Are you projecting? I said it was petty. Then I said it was hilarious because of the level of pettiness. Where do you see anger?
I was simply pointing out another example of the unsportsmanlike nature of the community sometimes, which many people have done on many posts.

With 2 strikes you shouldn't care if they bunt. Foul ball is an out and if it's in play it's probably an out. Ks help pitcher confidence so you can't blame an opponent for not wanting to give your pitcher a boost.
But getting a hit reduces the confidence, right? I see your point, though. That makes sense. Although in my eyes, it’s still a weak approach. It’s surrendering an out. Especially when you consider strikeouts are through the roof anyway. Confidence stays maxed out. Haha.

Personally my approach with pitchers with noone on base is usually take until 2 strikes then try to work the count to get pitch count up. -

Hmm. That’s something to try, I guess. I feel more confident that I’d get a hit by swinging with a pitcher than by bunting. But you may be on to something…
