Im real close to not buying the game this year already.....it feels like a cheap cut and paste job. I felt zero improvements in the game playing the tech test... (did they even attempt to fix the broken check swing mechanic. It being RNG is unacceptable)
"Woke" trash like erasing accurate uniforms may be the last straw....Lmao nobody is erasing them from history, its not like we are trying to burn books or anything and actually erase things we don't like. There was no place for the Indians in this league now, and it should be that way. The Native Americans have been the punching bag of America literally from day 1. Also its not honoring a race of people when you can't even label them right. The word Indian in American culture is strictly because Columbus thought he landed in Indonesia.

As far as erasing history? They are not erasing history, they are removing something that should have been removed a long time ago. The players, teams and everything else is still there except the logo and name on the uniform. Is that really enough for you to not buy a game?
To each their own but that kind of thing seems a little bit of a stretch to not buy a game considering you never see the uniforms in game anyways and only really see them on the cards.
Its the classic case of "You're a snowflake for removing it!" When in fact the snowflakes are the ones pissed it was removed at all. Franchise, stadium, players all still exist, god forbid we change the name.

So anyway, since The Show is a licensed product, I am 100% certain the edits to the Indians logos and stuff in the game are a part of branding guidelines directed by MLB or even the team itself and not something SDS's art team would do on their own

Me, too.
It seems inevitable that they are going to remove all "Indian" stuff, as Chief Wahoo has been gone now for a few years.
Will they have only uni's that show no words or Cleveland on the front? They won't have many classics if at all.
Sadly, I think it will be exactly what happens. I'm going to edit the Indians right back in!
