Anyone else find that BR plays better than ranked?

I think this game plays way better with less OP cards.

I mean, obviously the games are usually so arbitrarily close, especially on the box score, so nobody gets too discouraged.

Nevertheless, I feel like my input has more effect on the outcomes than in ranked.

    Thoughts?

Absolutely. There's a team building element that really matters. Players have real weaknesses. Going home from second on a single is a possibility because all outfielders aren't Ichiro on defense. Bunts used strategically matter. Stealing is a thing if used correctly. Plus many more.

I actually have a chance to beat WS players in a 3-inning game with non-God Squads. I like it.

And I like that you are mostly only facing silver pitchers and maybe a couple golds here and there.

For someone who pretty much lives in BR year in year out, I personally find BR enjoyable but WAY more random than RS. Like literally you can square up 9 pitches for outs and your opponent can hit 1 non PCI homerun and your run is over. Happened to me many times, on both sides of the spectrum. That's the part I don't enjoy, but other than that yes.. BR is fun.

I mean, I don't feel like it plays better in terms of pitching, The reduced stamina and such really makes it hard to be "good" at pitching

I find online rated plays better than all DD modes. This engine was not made with 125 ratings in mind. Hell when DD was first introduced it wasn’t even based on actual mlb players but the ability to create players and train them up

Agreed, but then, that kind of stuff unfortunately is a given this year.

Events plays better than ranked and alot of times the cards are very similar. The pinpoint stamina glitch that hasn't been fixed since day one is at least 60% what is wrong with Ranked. You don't see the stamina glitch in Events or BR

True although I do feel like I get rewarded more consistently in RS.

I mean depends how you think, I hate the amount of homeruns in BR bc it seems juiced, but ranked is a grind and just not enjoyable

It’s honestly doesn’t matter what mode. BR and events just give you less time to deal with the state of this game. SDS outside of being the best for NMS is heading EA’s way, turning out pitiful products
