You’d sell if you thought the price would drop so you can complete collections… for instance, Griffey… anyone who has Griffey likely spent real money to get him. We all play the same game here, some of those collections cost a fortune to get there, and you need all but one completed to get Griffey. I’d like to use his card, I refuse to spend real money, so I’ll sell off some high dollar cards on the hopes prices drop and I can finish that collection.
Wow. Some people have absolutely no idea what is going on around them. Please never have children.
Let’s talk about why you’re such a miserable person that you would respond so disrespectfully like this. Showing your true colors, you would never say this to me face to face. I forgive you.
I'm far, far from a miserable person. You've jumping to assumptions based on your own failures, thus everyone but you are taking shortcuts. Man, that's a way to live your life... Very close minded.
I had Griffey within an hour of availability, my drive home from work included. I planned ahead and only needed 2 cards for the collection.
I'm steadfast in my belief that anyone that can make those empty and baseless claims from your original post is not capable of teaching anyone the mental approach to rationally approaching something with an open mind.
I hope you learn abstract thought and rational problem solving. You'll be a lot happier not playing the blame game.
Moral of the Story: just because you can't plan ahead for something as simple as a game, doesn't mean others lack the basic skills to do so.
You’re an absolute jackass. This is a message board for a video game you psycho.
This was all in reference to a video game. Specifically, a user that accused anyone with a certain card had to be spending money on stubs because he didn't have said card.
I can't stand that type of a mentally...

Hey all, what about the reward cards, eg Trout, Trey, Billy Wagner, Kluber? What do you think will happen to their prices after 11th inning comes out next week? I'm gonna wait and earn/buy old bosses but unsure if I should go ahead and buy any reward cards I want now.
I have 2.5m stubs and want to build a good team in '21 as I plan on sticking with it for quite a while. Here are the reward cards I know I want:
trea
trout
gehrig
wagner
eckersly
kluber
arrieta
fingersAll of these cards are some of the best in the game. Except maybe Eckersly. Unless it’s the Starting pitcher on then I can’t comment because I’ve never tried him.I think the closing pitcher one is mid. Aaron Loup is way better and a lot cheaper. He might be a top 3 closer in the game.
Sorry buds I think the quote just caught the last part of my post. My question was what do you guys think will happen to the rewards cards values, eg will they be going down in price as well in the next few weeks. Thanks.
I think the prices will go up as the supply drops off. A lot of cards have had a decent to large price increase recently. I think that'll be the trend until 22 comes out.
Thanks for the reply. I figure I'll at least wait on trout and trea as trout seems to be dropping and trea can't get any higher than the million he is now. I did spring for Gehrig at like 650k, hit a homer with him the first pitch of his first at bat
I tried trea in a custom roster and hit better than with anyone i ever have. Can't wait to get him. If he stays at a million another couple weeks I'll just get in line at a mil.
The rest of the awards cards I considered are pitchers, not sure I'll spring top dollar for more pitchers as I have a good stable now and it seems people figure em out anyway so probably just gonna keep trying new ones along with the known good's I have.

Trea is a badass! Trout is awesome, I just suck with him. ️
My top 5 cards: Trea (finest) , Griffey Jr, (milestone) and Tatis (finest), Jazz Chisholm (TN), Lofton (awards).
Unless you're trying to complete a collection, there's really not any necessary pitcher award cards. Are you meaning a different series? Don't want to steer you in the wrong direction.

Not sure why you guys believe that the prices will plummet. The 11th inning program will only add one additional boss to the earned rewards path. Which means that yes there will be a few more available in the market but will still be a finite amount. Initially the boss prices will dip however they’re not going to plummet like most think.

I would put in an order for turner asap. his limited supply will probably keep him with lines at 1 million forever unless they make him a specific rewind reward in an event a month or two from now. possible given what they've done so far this year, but there's no guarantee.
this is just my opinion, but i've been pretty on the money with market trends this year. trout and the highest br and RS cards might drop slightly in cost (possibly offset by the inflation of people selling the bosses they get from the 11th inning) but the rest of them (the ones that are cheaper now) will creep up towards an equilibrium point as they get taken less in the packs.
rollie fingers should go down in a week when the new BR starts and people get more of the old 80 pt rewards, I like him as a change of pace arm as a reliever too. -

Last year they plummeted substantially and I think that’s great

That’s because you could go back to those programs after they closed and complete objectives to further advance those programs. That is not the case this year. Once the program timeframe ended you could not go back and do anything further. The forever program won’t have a timeframe like the first 10 innings but will still only allow you to choose one more boss assuming that’s what the 11th inning program is based on previous years. So there will still be a finite amount of bosses available. If market economics hold true their will be a dip at first then return to higher values as the supply dwindles in the market. Many people like me won’t sell these bosses as stubs are not factor at this point which will further diminish the availability.

You could be waiting awhile if at all. I mentioned in a previous thread that if you had not participated in the event to get him for free that he may not be available after the event because those that were willing to sell him have already done so. Now the only way to get him without being in that queue to buy him will be the rewind packs from the events coming up. And those rewind packs still won’t guarantee that he will be available as a choice. Unfortunately that’s the price you pay for not playing the event. I hate events and only played the events that had a card I wanted. Once I retrieved that card I stopped playing them. Sometimes you have to sacrifice the pain for what you gain. Just saying.

Well I’m an offline player. So this sucks. And “that’s the price you pay”? Lol. No reason to be so judgmental like that. There is nothing wrong with my preference for offline play, it’s not like I criticize you for playing online only.
