Co op Franchise

Covid has really changed the way we play with friend & family. An online co op franchise or season would be great. Me and my brother love playing together but we don't live close and because of covid we don't feel comfortable enough to drive all the way out to each other's house just to get in a few games and potentially put our self at risk for getting covid. So an online co op would be great.

If they only cared for the rest of their game modes as much as they force DD down our throats each year with same regurgitated cards year after year

I wish they could listen to the communities advise for once and give the people what they want. Online franchise is all we ask

For once??? I believe they have done that more than once! But, of course, you don't pay attention to that because it's not about listening to the community (which they have done many times), you only want them to only listen to what you want and ignore everything else they have done that the community has asked for.
But, you would not know they listened to this community because you have not been a part of this community for more than 10 minutes or so!

If they really listened to the bigger details of the community, “Online Franchise” would be a thing by now. But it hasn’t.., for the past decade. It’s been the same game for the past decade and nothing has really changed besides what, stadium creator? Custom leagues that no one plays? Don’t get me wrong I love diamond dynasty, but that’s the 1 sole reason why most people have the game and it’s also the reason why so many people don’t buy it b/c it’s been the SAME.

You must got this confused with Madden...now that is a game that has not changed in a decade!!!
If you have been a part of the community for more than ten minutes, you would have noticed all the other changes SDS has made that the community has asked for through out the past few years, let alone how different it is from a decade ago. There have been big differences each year that the community has asked for that SDS has implemented.
You are just fixated on one item they have not done. That is a far cry from having the same game for a decade! Maybe you should go back to the Madden groups!

Here's the thing though. Baseball's Endgame is the World Series. That's something you can achieve in only one mode and that mode is the Franchise. Imagine if they brought that mode online like they did in '14? Imagine being able to do what they can in Madden and create a player and take him all the way to the Hall of Fame. Also another achievement only possible in, yep you guessed it, Franchise mode. It just makes too much sense and it's what Franchise Mode fans want and we are many.
Fact.
Full stop.

I have played every year of this game. The first 10 years or so were a blast. My friend and I would do franchise rebuilds together on the same couch. We’d make roster decisions together (I remember creating Posey and Madbum as minor leaguers when the Giants were terrible) and hand off the controller depending on the pitchers and hitters we considered “ours.” Still the most fun I’ve ever had in a sports game.
Since then we’ve grown up, have our own careers/families, and don’t live near each other anymore. I switched to DD, he has stopped playing entirely. It’s a shame that SDS doesn’t try to implement this online. He would come back in a heartbeat.

Online franchise was always the least played mode in the game when they used to give gave us stats back in the day. So the vast majority of the community is not asking for it. There is a very vocal, passionate group though who wants it back.
If they bring it back then great and I will be happy for those who want it to return but lets not pretend that the whole community wants it back.
