I think you go into your My Ballplayer, or the home screen and turn it off.

It's to the right of the Tatis Icon

Actually just go up to the Tatis Icon in the upper left had corner of the game screen and click on it. Then go to My Profile.

You'll see the option to turn off Cross Play there.

No you have to go to the actual Xbox settings and disable cross platform.
