Still bonkers that there's no "vs LHP/RHP" within each DD Squad

I mean, it's the same players either way, just you can play the matchups at first pitch instead of having Eddie Mathews starting against a lefty while Schmidt sits on the bench because ???????????????

This game simulates real baseball.....and then it doesn't.

There should be an option to set a lineup vs. lefties and a lineup vs righties using the same 25 man squad. It would automatically pick the appropriate lineup without having to set it after beginning the game. I know that they used to show whether you were facing a lefty or a righty, and this would cause people to stack their lineup with lefties and quit if they saw they were facing a lefty. But this wouldn't be possible with what I described, as you wouldn't get to see if you're facing a lefty or righty

Then I would start a left hand pitcher, you’d have 8 right handers in and I’d sub in my right hand guy and have an even bigger advantage

And any player crazy enough to have a bench full of platoon players would likely lose. But having one or two platoon options is unarguably superior to the current system

No more pitching matchups and still no DH option. Sounds odd. The devs are just the comissioner. Clueless
