Dude buys the game today. Jumps online for the first time and throws a 66 pitch complete game shutout with Orel.
Let's talk MLB averages on this one. Lil Billy is real

Lil Billy and any references are getting a little over the top. Stop listening to people who use that lingo cause honestly it comes off as offensive

So he beat someone really bad at the game that swung at everything? I don't get the point of this

I believe cespedesbbq tweeted around the same time that he was shut out by orel on 66 pitches.

If what I said offended you then you sir are a Lil Billy
My uncle once said something similar. Except replace "lil billy" with, well he was from a different time, let's just leave it at that

If you get shut out on 66 pitches you can't possibly be good at this game. Doesn't matter how bad the game is. A 66 pitch shutout isnt possible against a halfways competent player

no one cares you sound like a giant loser - everyone is chirping you on this thread bc of it - just put that in your pipe and smoke it
Isn't it odd that a guy who just bought the game and with no practice didn't groove one pitch or none of his outfielders caught the stanky leg on a fly ball?

what you said makes absolutely no sense in any context here - you're just doubling down on the stupid at this point mate

You're a vet around here and have a problem beating Showdown according to your recent posts. How many complete games shutouts have you thrown lately? Could you throw one jumping on a new game for the first time in months?
All I want is yes or no answers, mate! Be honest too

None, but most of the time if you jump in to the very first ranked season 2 weeks in, you are playing absolute noobs. I just started playing ranked last night and my first 3 games easily would have been shutouts if not for a disconnect and 2 quits. Newsflash: people ranked under 200 and have played more than their first couple games usually arent too good. And assuming you and your opponent havent played this game in years or are new, its a whole lot [censored] easier to pitch than hit. Even with broken pitching mechanics
-
This making something out of absolute nothing, clearly he was playing a bad player, nothing more, nothing less.

You would think a noob would throw at least one hanger, right? I mean I have some of the best arms in the game and I routinely serve up meatballs on perfectly timed pitches. It's all just a bit odd to me. Just like all these people on here who haven't seen bad OF animation yet. Maybe those bad animations only happen to handicap people during the game??
