Exchange set for common diamonds into rare/expensive Griffey pieces
I took a month off
It's costing me 3 million coins to fill Griffey to 8/16 gonna cost me a month of straight gaming w no life and another 3 plus million to MAYBE finish it
I've spent a lot of money and time on this game it shouldn't be so out of reach an exchange set of some sort would help I'm sure I'm not the only one
-
It isn't out of reach for people who have been playing all year, it shouldn't be easy and they def won't be doing that because it would make people mad who did spend all their stubs to unlock it.

You're off the mark here buddy. I haven't touched this game in two months and just got bored and jumped back in casually when griffey dropped. Not only did I unlock griffey but I made 4mil with tons of cards in my binder. If you prepare for this all season it's a free end game card plus tons of stubs. The card shouldn't be obtainable easily for players that play here and there. Its one if the best cards in the game and you get mookie, Kershaw and mo also.
-
Dear SDS,
Please make it easy for me and difficult for everyone else.
Thanks.
-
Yeah, I'm all for making things possible but I was almost a little bummed it wasn't harder to obtain Griffey. It did kind of feel like a foregone conclusion for people who have completed all content, grinded all year and collected as much as possible. Getting started, I loved when I finally got to Jackie and Mo, felt like I really earned it. Griffey is the ultimate trophy and he should be hard to obtain.
SDS has still made it possible with all these rewind packs, daily moments with every Evo and DM boss available and tons of free cards in every program. But no, Griffey isn't for the casual players. There are plenty of 99 great players easy to obtain like all the TA 4 and TA 5 cards.

Yeah… no

I’m an offline player and I had more than enough cards of each series when the collection was dropped. If it wasn’t for my wife asking me to come upstairs to get the groceries, I would have had a fighting chance to be the one to discover it.

So you stay in the basement gaming and your "wife" Ismost likely your mom OK cool got it
Some of us have jobs and kids to take care of and have to give it a break now and then
If you worked your way thru rs gaining top players and millions of free stubs cool I'm happy for you kid you're playing the game for free your voice really doesn't need to be heard
But like I said I've spent enough money and time on this game to be able to complete griffey rather I no lifed it like yall or fed my kids took them to school and went to work
Madden has plenty of exchange sets nobody cries over there like you all on your high griffey horse lol why does it matter to you? is this temporary virtual game bring your life some level of achievement in reality?
I don't see how you having griff and others not having him brings you any joy but whatever

So you’re just salty that it wasn’t handed to you on a silver platter because you took a month off from playing the game. Why should you get the same rewards for doing a fraction of the work? I’m sorry you have kids and other responsibilities but many other people that play this game are in the same situation as you and got it done. Put the time in or pull out the credit card. Also, If you like Madden so much for how they do their stuff, go play Madden.

What did you spend 3M on yo get to 8/16?
And what else do you need that it will cost you another 3M to finish the other 8?
If you're talking about the earlier Inning bosses and henchmen; just wait until either the 10th Inning Program, or the program after that one (if they have one).
One of those will probably be filled with Choice packs for the past bosses and henchmen.
Also, I started the game about a little over 2 months ago, maybe less, and I have finished the Mookie Collection, Ohtani Collection, 42 Collection, and am one voucher from Kershaw. I will get that as soon as I hammer out 26 weeks worth of TN Moments. Then I'll finish the Monthly Awards Programs and I'll have 8 of the 16 needed myself.
Once I finish off the remaining Player Programs I have left, and those two I just mentioned, I only need to past bosses and henchmen to get Griffey.
Oh and I didn't spend one cent in stubs and have almost 3.5M just sitting waiting for me to buy what bosses/henchmen I can't get.
Everyone that has him now has either played for the whole year or ponies up the stubs to buy him.
That was their reward for playing all year.
If you couldn't play all year, which is understandable, why should SDS give you an easier way to get Griffey?
-
For one asking for a redemption set isn't hardly asking for it for free
For 2 I'm only short a bunch of over priced cards gougers are posting
For 3 wtf would a cc do you can't buy griffey cleezy
And if you others had all the responsibilities I have and got griff already I'd dare to say they were derelict in most of their manly duties

What responsibilities?
Wife?
Kids?
Job?And I work close to 60 hrs a week. It just so happens that I work out of home so I can actually play during down times. But I also have 'manly' responsibilities and will probably have Griffey by middle of Dec.
Does it suck that I won't get to use him as long? Yes, but that's the price I pay for starting late.
Also, you took a month off. I'm assuming that meant you started Day 1. If that's the case; why am I, who started 6-7 mos late almost as close to Griffey as you?
It can be done. It just takes time.

Spent on bids of awards milestones primes all stars etc etc
Not worried about the coin I've made 500k coins every day this week while at work
If I wanted to waste my life I could make 5 mill in a couples days
I have everyone from chipper to mo to Kershaw and everyone in between but griff doesn't seem attainable without giving up your life to get him which shouldn't be a thing no grown man should have enough time on his hands to sit on a game every hour of every day it's degenerative and the game shouldn't be based around pleasing degenerates

Ok, so what you're saying is that in 6 days if flipping you can have almost enough in stubs to buy the remaining cards to get Griffey; but you don't want to spend them on him?
What else are you going to do with them?
They don't carry over to the next year.
I'm sorry to say this, buy it seems like what you're asking is for SDS to give YOU an opportunity to get Griffey NOW so you don't have to spend with time or stubs on him.
I understand you took some time off for I know reasons; but for SDS to come out and give you something that other people grinded for is just a tad bit 'entitled'.

It doesn't break my heart. I'm just saying to have people that found the time to play all year, or flip to get the stubs to buy the cards needed, and WORKED to get Griffey; it's not fair for SDS to throw in an exchange for people that couldn't play as much.
If you want the good cards; it should cost you time or money
I've paid money to play this game I bet I paid more than the basement dwellers that ran up bundles of stubs running back rs every day all day idky its some badge of honor to yall like some elitists group of @$$holes who say "I played every day and you didn't" who cares the deva are leaving this game alone any day now I think it'd helpful to drop a set that at least gives a chance at some of these 300k price gouged cards it's ridiculous and there definitely no need to whine about if it were to happen most likely won't but if it did who gives a shite
May I ask what cards you are talking about that are gouged to 300K?

Exchange set for common diamonds into rare/expensive Griffey pieces
I took a month off
It's costing me 3 million coins to fill Griffey to 8/16 gonna cost me a month of straight gaming w no life and another 3 plus million to MAYBE finish it
I've spent a lot of money and time on this game it shouldn't be so out of reach an exchange set of some sort would help I'm sure I'm not the only one
