Why bother even having a beta?

It seems like the hitting since the patch is very similar to 19. Line outs galore and RNG solo HRs dictating the game... kinda ridiculous. Why bother spending an entire offseason improving the hitting engine, actually deliver a beautiful game, only to continue to [censored] on it time and time again with these stupid updates.
