Have u used him or faced him on legend yet? I thought he was terrible until I faced him on legend and scored like 2 runs all game
my first time seeing him on legend was a sale/sale matchup. I struck out 16 times and scored 0 that was rough. my opponent had a rating over 1000 and scored 3??? cant remember exactly. just remember me flailing away for 9 innings.

No. You should map out what cards you need and how you want to get it. I would do all golds that you can get and quick sellfor around 1k and diamonds around 5K before doing TA

Appreciate it the tips! Just recently got him a few days ago. My lineup is pretty set, I just never really found a catcher that I really like. Same thing regarding 2nd base, but I use Hornsby & Reyes.

Appreciate it the tips! Just recently got him a few days ago. My lineup is pretty set, I just never really found a catcher that I really like. Same thing regarding 2nd base, but I use Hornsby & Reyes.
Honus plays 2B well too. He's above 80 in all 3 fielding categories there. For some reason SS's take a -10 penalty to play 2B out of position, and all the other positions he plays are secondaries. So he can quite literally play every position other than P/C with a gold badge, can hit, and is fast. His versatility is the primary reason he's so good.

Am i the only one thinking Honus is a bit overrated ? I'm playing him 8th in my lineup... my Jones, Thomas, Alomar, Griffey, Cobb, Mays and Cap Catcher have better numbers than Honus. I'm starting to think about replacing him by Ernie Banks. I only keep him because of his amazing defense.

Just to let you know. I had 450k stubs when I started. I have finished all affinities as of last night and started buying 5k players and selling back. I am at 260k stubs now. I also was impatient and traded some diamond players to get the 100 affinities...if you played the market you would have much much much more left. I am now 11 all-star, 4 hardware, and 22 signatures away from Honus. I think 1m stubs is waaaaay more than enough...be able to get Honus and the Babe with that!

Agreed. I love how versatile Honus is, but he's coming off the bench these days. He's an amazing sub because whenever someone slow starts an inning off with a single, you can insert Honus and leave him in. As long as it's not a C he can play all the other positions. Ernie Banks is a far better hitter though.

People have different experiences with cards. He does well for most. You could be that guy who he doesn’t take with.
I have used Banks at he isn’t on Honus’ level. But some dudes kill with Thomas whereas I can’t hit a lick with him
