Question about Batting Stances and Cards that have them

I saw a lot of talk over the years about certain cards having "bad stances", and others having "good stances", and I decided to look at the animations for one of each(according to places like here and OS). Mike Schmidt, who uses Two-Handed Style 1 is considered to have a bad swing, but Jimmie Foxx, who uses the same Two Handed Style 1 is considered to have one of the better swings in the game. So I have to wonder what causes this kind of fallacy to be born?
