1st BR program
-
After years of self imposed BR exile, I did my first BR program today. I actually had a blast doing it!! Went back to playing one inning of Ranked and promptly remembered why I quit playing it.
-
I had fun completing the last BR program too but nothing compares to that 9 inning ranked grind
-
The BR program this year completely changed my thoughts on the mode. Previously I thought it was a legitimate waste of time to play BR. Now it might be my favorite mode

Ok, I think I might finally give this a shot. Seems like everyone is enjoying it. So how does it work? I draft a team trying to get mission specific players and then as I earn points I can add players along the reward path.
Do those cards get added to your BR roster for missions or just your inventory? Thanks.

Ok. You draft 26 players. You get 4 Diamonds, 3 Golds, 9 Silvers, 8 Bronze, and 2 Common players.
The rounds vary but you get to draft at least one Diamond player your first round.
There are 8 Players (4 Silvers and 4 Golds) that you can possibly draft that have specific player missions. This time is X amount of TBs with each hitter and 3 IP with each RP. These each are worth 7 pts and aren't 'run' specific.
Run specific means you have to accomplish that mission during that draft or it starts over. Those at 40 TBs, (10pts) 10Ks (10pts), and 10 XBH (10pts) and those can be completed with any hotter or pitcher.
You get 2pts per win and if you get 9 wins in a run and go 12-0 (without losing 2 games during that draft) you also get points. (15 and 20 respectively).
After you draft you set your lineup and enter a 3 inning game.
You keeping playing with that current lineup until you either go 12-0 or lose two games.
Then you can draft again.
It costs 1,500 stubs per draft but it's worth it if you can get lucky.
Along the way you get certain rewards.
I won't list them all here, and you can find them just by entering BR and going into the View Battle Royal Program 'box'
But I will tell you it's stubs, Show packs and and BR player packs. The BR player packs allow you to pick Gold and Silver players from this season, and past season's Player Missions. They're either Flashback or Legend players.
For each Silver pack you get to pick one of four if the new Silvers and if I remember correctly 6 of the past 24 silvers. Same with the Gold.
You can get each of these packs 4x (Both Silver and Gold).
You can either keep them towards the collections or sell them.
What I do is I sell the newer Golds because until next season you can get 15-20K each for them. Next season they'll drop drastically (3-4K). Silvers I usually keep.
Technically during one season you can get ALL the Golds and Silvers in one season, so If you play again the next season, you can get dupes (except for the 4 new Gold and Silvers) so you can make stubs that way.
You also get three chances at BR rewards. One rewind Choice pack that include past lower end rewards at 80pts (you can pick two Diamonds). At 90 pts you get a player card. This season it's a 99 Milestone Cliff Lee. At 100pts you can choose a higher end BR reward like Sig Chapman and Awards Bellinger just to make a few.
These are all sellable.
This season I took Awards Harper and AS Clemente at 80 and sold them for 360K together and am keeping Lee. And I'll probably take and keep Sig Chapman at 100pts.
Once you reach 100pts, you're done with the Program and then the only way to get the Flawless cards is by going 12-0.
Not sure if you want to try this now or wait, as the new season starts in 4 days. Every season it resets your points to 0.
If you do try this season, you would have to average at least 25pts a day and not counting any Player or Stats missions, that's about 13 wins a day.
If you can average 4-5 wins per entry (draft) you should be good to start this week.

I just reached 80, took me about 6 hours most of which was redrafting for missions, is there anyone at 80 I need to have?

I am just about finished my first BR run and can’t figure out why I haven’t done this sooner, the rewards might be the easiest to obtain out of the three online modes.

I’d take Jansen. There aren’t a ton of 99 relievers relative to the other positions.

BR is the only online mode I actively play. I only do enough to get the rewards. After that I do all the offline content. I really enjoy BR

You are spot on other than the fact that the 90 point reward is Cole Hamels, not Cliff Lee
