Server Update (10/9)

This could be a security patch issue, maybe even database related as they have webservers and database servers with advanced failover features. There could be an issue with offsite storage too.

I can't believe I'm going to say this and it's a Longshot but maybe this time isn't fully their fault and it has to do with the twitch hack. Someone is trying to take down SDS!
But most likely just some incompetence -

Same. 3 day weekend, this was the "me" day. So I deleted the game and bought something cool for my switch. Lots of good games coming to PS4 in November. Holidays are always the best for gamers.
I had some free PS+ games that I haven’t had a chance to play that much yet so this is giving me that opportunity.

Are you effin kidding me? I worked my backside off all day, dealt with an apartment fire alarm going off FOR THIS. Server maintenance during peak time, shameful. There better be an end time for this so I can play the game I spent 60 dollars on.

It's all good. Got a rack of ribs, 12 cold IPA's, college football, and the switch. Family's happy, SDS didn't get the $50 I gave to Nintendo, and they'll fix nothing.

Started last night. They came back up over night, then went down again 5 or so hours ago. I wouldn't expect to play this weekend.

I’ve never seen anything has as many issues as this game does. Been playing for 12 years but I’m done paying for upgrade pre-order copies, buying stubs, etc.. just to get such poor service.

I'm sure it's been said already, but like their thousands of "We apologize for the inconvenience" statements they've issued (which are no longer satisfactory after so many outages)...
