As I said elsewhere, the easy solution is just to credit the “winning” player from a disconnect with a home run for whoever they had at bat when the disconnect happened.
I’m on board with this
It would help against the jerks that do this to the BR mission cards too.

So have you guys ever had kind of the opposite of dashboarding happen? I was playing yesterday in a RS game and the score was 2-2 in the second inning. Opponent at the plate and he has one of those near miss homeruns that goes 2 feet left of the foul pole. After that I notice the guy never takes another swing the rest of the inning. Next inning I'm up, he has Degrom pitching and first pitch 4 seam right down the middle. Second pitch, 4 seam right down the middle. I'm like this guy isn't there anymore, so after scoring 22 runs that inning his controller finally disconnected and he eventually timed out. I've had guys pause the game and they time out often but I've never had someone just sit their controller down and walk away.

Right, that’s where dashboarding is the biggest issue. Hopefully SDS does something for next year

Tbh the single most annoying thing in online gaming is the dashboard because when you actually do something the right way and are supposed to get rewarded (in this case a HR) someone just disconnects like it never happened.

I hate dashboarders as much as anyone, that said I always laugh afterwards because I know "dude was p***d off"

LOL. Its been awhile but I've had this happen to me in a few games this year. Kind of fun a first but then its like, I need to get myself out already as this is getting old...

I've been dashboarded several times in the last few days. And I'm not a great player. Usually high-K low-hit games on both sides, then I hit a dinger or two and dashboard.
Stat-stealing punks.
When I quit, I have the common decency to bean a guy in the head first so he knows I'm pissed. Then I quit honorably.

I literally have two reactions to dashboarding. First reaction is "Lol, nice. Free win." This happens when I get a HR dashboarded with a card I hit well with. the second reaction is "JFC. I'm hitting 180 with this guy right now. Why dashboard him... at least it's a win."

But when literally my last 3 home runs with Hank Aaron haven’t counted due to dashboarding, it’s starting to [censored] me off
I’m part of the “take your win and move on” party but with the new parallel system this year, dashboarding is the new go to move for toxic players
I have no idea how you resolve this but there has to be a way to have those stats count. Never thought I’d make a dashboarding thread but yeah, shits lame and a problem with the new parallel system and especially in the BR program with player specific missions
Playing with my Mariners team yesterday, I lost out on a Mike Zunino bomb (2nd of the game) and an A-Rod home run (back to back with Kelenic to lead off the game). With Zunino's, all of the runs counted but the at bat itself wasn't counted

You can blame the cumulative awards that everyone wants because it’s “TOO HARD to make WS or go 12-0”…….
