Why Contact Swing is NOT Cheesy
-
I'm going to get some heat for this, but I don't mind.
Some of you guys can see/crush/destroy any pitcher/pitch in the game at every level up to Legend.I applaud your skill with upmost sincerity.
I consider myself to be above average, but not a WS player, for sure.
Contact swing has not been fixed, and I abided by the belief that using it was somehow "cheating" or ruining the games integrity-- quite an oxymoron. But with the insane pitching, pinpoint, and cards throwing 102mph for 9 innings, I see Contact Swing as a leveler.
These pitching cards make bad players competitive-- no doubt a goal of SDS.
I'm certainly not looking for validation from the Community, but I think it's reasonable to say that if it ain't fixed, it ain't cheating.Still, I feel a little dirty hitting 2 bombs with Mookie and Turner against Verlander in the 7th of a 0-0 game. But the average hitter needs SOMETHING to combat pinpoint and the overall nastiness of the amped up flame throwers.
'Nuff said... Contact swinger till it's fixed!

100% not cheese or cheating. It's a game and you're trying to win. Same with bunting. That's baseball.

Doesn't bother me. I can't even see the ball most of the time. Just played someone from connecticut and even on all star the ball was a blur. Had no chance even with my A squad. Got most guys hitting .350+ and looked like a 5 year old trying to play this game. Think I should just pull the trigger on Insurgency: Sandstorm

I'll contact swing with two strikes on HoF, I see it as the same as a player shortening up to avoid striking out.
