'X' amount of stats before 6 outs

Any particular reason, other than poor programming, when instead of ending the moment after the 6th out; it wants you to pitch?

Says you only get 6 outs; but there is still one out in the board.

I've found it does that if you ground into a double play as the, what would be, 5th and 6th outs. You then pitch and then it adds in that last "out" and it's over. Just restart before pitching with "one out".
