MLB21 The Show Fall Circuit: BattleFy Tournament

I know that you have to adhere to certain squad requirements like: Position Players 3 x 95+ overall rating, 3 x 85-94 overall rating, the rest 84 or below, etc.

For those of you who are participating, are you creating a new squad in your DD Manage Team section? I am asking because this is the first tournament I'm entering and just want to make sure I start off on the right foot. lol

I’m trying to figure out if the parallel boost of plus two counts as two levels higher example: Fernando Valenzuela parallel 2 so instead of his base 93 it shows he’s a 94 with this plus two boost. But the rules say each parallel counts as a point no matter what? I’m confused

The tournament is insanity. I did the first one and made it to the second day but it took up almost my entire Saturday and half of my Sunday. Only made it to the second round Sunday. You are basically on standby all day following discord for updates or you will miss your start time and forfeit your match.
