Crappy thing is, is that it works. Kids still spend 100s of dollars on packs. [censored] my brother in law stole his mother’s CC to buy packs. Haven’t touched madden since 18.

Oh trust me I stopped trying to get Wall after a bit but I love those domination games. Yea with new cards coming out every 3 days and multiple duplicates of players the market is so f volatile. Cards lose value within days
I did happen to get every vault reward and not have to play 600 games. ‘Dishwasher’ was the ish

FYI I haven't played/boughten madden since madden 14 only reason I did was to give it another shot as this being the first year it was truly focused on next gen and it is a massive flop. Played the show since launch then trying to get into madden 22 was a massive step backwards. But im back! LOL and boy do I have a TON of content to grind now. Thank you SDS!
Did you strictly play MUT or did you try Franchise?
If you play madden and don’t like MUT, which in my opinion is the only mode that works then you are SOL. I was in a pretty big online franchise with a lot of my buddies since madden 16 and ever year after 16 the mode got worse and worse. The online franchise is on hiatus as of this year and may never comeback

This year I tried strictly mut because of how much I like DD. So being that that is maddens equivalent to dd it is what I played. The content is lame and very little of it and it is clear as day it is designed for you to spend insane amounts of money to buy packs to get players. When you get free players they are ncat (no sell and not collectable). It really is lame and especially if you like offline play. Online mut is horrible guys run the exact same 3 or 4 plays on D o offence it is not sim football at all! Even the "pros" if you watch them play they run out of one formation exclusively because it is the meta. Sorry I like sim sports games not meta trash.

Also forgot to mention SDS did an amazing job with paralleling players. Just wish when you P5 someone you got a collection or reward or something or a reason to continue to use the card. Madden is hilarious to parallel a card (power up in there lingo). you have to spend INSANE amounts of coins (stubs) and you go up a wopping +1. It is not worth it at all as the cost does not make sense. Just another one of the million things SDS does better.

Uggggh. I dreaded having to put chemistries on and [censored] for flipping +1. So tedious. Hope SDS never does anything like that

That's why Im saying im no fan boy but after playing the show then tying to give madden another chance it is night and day in every aspect. Madden is awful compared to the show. I agree hope SDS never goes this route. And I doubt they will. They listen and care about there community not like EA.

I played DD since may bought madden 22 and played it for a month. Played the show today for the first time in a month and WOW! It is insane how much better the show is in ever aspect compared to madden. From DD to gameplay graphics content etc etc etc. I can go on and on but this game and team are so much better then ea and madden it isn't even funny. Im not a fan boy or anything I play all sports games but no one does it better then SDS just being real! Anyways glad to be back going to get grinding again.
Pretty cool story Ramone

I tried all of the sports games' card collection modes and DD is far better in creativity, card collecting, and grinding. MUT does not have a deep create a team, MyTeam, you would need a certain amount of cards to unlock custom logos and uniforms. Cards are not repetitive in DD, MUT and 2K would up to 10 cards of the same person. The rarely of DD cards are simple, Diamond, Gold, Silver, bronze, and common. 2K has so many different rarities,
"Hey I got a diamond Lebron James" "Diamond Lebron James? He's bad to compare this 99 SuperDunk Space Jam Lebron James" "Wow, how do I got" "You need to give me money so I give you a pack that may or may not have him" "Ok" gives money "Aw I didnt get him" "Well GIVE ME MORE MONEY and maybe this pack could" Rinse and Repeat
SDS has a limit of how you buy a headliner pack, its telling you know your limits, its a gamble but they are not forcing you to buy more packs. Getting diamonds are so easy in this and you don't have to pay a single dime. I have four full diamond squads without duplicates of the same person. The grinding in DD is so rewarding, there are so many programs to grind to get this certain card or certain card pack,
Sports leagues really need to look into SDS as an option to make their games. Ryan Moody has compared Madden to The Show and said the show has many things that Madden is missing. But sadly we may see another SDS sport franchise

I'm talking about offline franchise. I've heard rumblings about it being a real big cluster xxxx and not sure I want to take my chances.

I only bought madden to play in an online franchise. I absolutely hate the game and wish I didn’t waste my money

I hate that they have two currencies, at least at the year I played it, and the one you use to buy cards on their market they didn’t sell. I wanted the 99 Jordan card so bad. This was 2k19.
I just play The Show all year, and somehow I still am not very good.

I’m gonna get all Oprah honest with you. There was some kind of study done that showed ppl that only played the same game got something like “fatigue reaction”. You’ve been doing the same thing for so long it becomes complacent. Seriously play another game for a day or two and come back and come back and you’ll be back to normal

I think people get so mad at this game because there are so many known issues that SDS won't, or can't fix, and since they have no competition, they have no hesitancy to fix them because they know we'll buy whatever they put in front of us.

Yeah, EA has a host of problems.
My biggest beef with them? Overworking BioWare and making them crunch to the point where a lot of their creative talents have left. And the result? Andromeda and Anthem. 🤮
God I was so hyped for Anthem. Such promise. Biggest disappointment In a video game right there
I’m honestly worried for Dragon Age 4 now. I loved Inquisition

Yall should follow Ryan Moody on YouTube. He makes great video discussing all the issues with madden and how they treat their customer base

Madden used to have a feature, that allowed to you design your own plays (within NFL rules) and you could use them as part of your playbook (not the same as "custom playbook"). It was a screen with pixels and x's/o's which you could design each route/with timing of each WR and RB. You could even have movements and timing for your OL -- you could have your LG or LT delay for a second or two, and then pull right to the 4 or 6 hole for example. It was a blast watching my friends/opponents try to stop some of those plays in H2H matches. You were NOT allowed to use those created custom plays in online h2h for some reason....and that was the only thing I did not like. That would have been great, instead of being stuck with the same boring playbook as everyone else. Regardless, EA eventually completely removed this feature (custom created plays), for some reason??? So, I stopped purchasing the game every year. I think it was the '04 version that last had this feature, but not sure.
