This is the first time I have played a full year of diamond dynasty and have really been competitive. I currently have 1.7 million stubs and need help figuring out where to put those stubs to use. I need help in the bullpen but not sure if those top arms are worth the price. I want to be competitive with world series guys, I usually hover in the high 800s and sometimes crack my way into World Series. Would really appreciate advise on making my team better or how I can best put my stubs to use at this point of the year. Currently my team looks like this:

    LINEUP

    1. Trea Turner 2B
    2. Mookie Betts RF
    3. Vlad Sr. LF
    4. Vlad Jr. 3B
    5. Frank Thomas 1B
    6. Mickey Mantle CF
    7. Xander Bogaerts SS
    8. Adley Rutschman C
    9. Pitcher

    Bench
    Roberto clemente
    Schwarber
    Ortiz
    Miguel Cabera
    Jackie Robinson

    Pitching Staff

    1. Verlander
    2. Jacob Degrom
    3. Nolan Ryan
    4. Felix Hernandez
    5. Shohei Ohtani

    Bullpen
    Alex Reyes
    Trevor Hoffman (97)
    Devin Williams
    Rob Dibble
    Goose Gossage (95 version)
    Lee Smith
    Josh Hader
    Mariano Rivera (99)

Honestly, that's a pretty elite squad with several of your pieces being personal preference (who you hit and pitch best with). Obviously there are a bunch of great options in TA4 but not for the bullpen and not that require stubs.

Miller and Chapman are great bullpen lefties though their price is pretty ridiculous. Although at this stage in the game with 1.7 stubs, it's worth it to grab one of them. Eckersley is another good option to mix in with all those fireballers.

For your rotation, Lefty Grove is solid, I hear a lot of people say that Degrom is easy to hit now because so many people use him but otherwise, Verlander is the concensus best. So you've got a strong 5 there.

Personally I would have Realmuto at least as your backup catcher ASG mid reward not TA3. But again, that's just nit picking hahaha. I know everyone loves Schwarber, I don't get it.

    That's a nice looking team.

I don't have any advice to give, but CBrev made a video called "The BEST Methods To Structure Your Lineup & Use Your Bench Effectively". It really helped me out a lot and might be worth 20 minutes of your time if you're looking to make a few adjustments.

Very nice lineup. I got to a point where it was fairly easy to god a squad to my preferences for position players. I think your bullpen could use a boost..I’ve thourouhly enjoy using the expensive guys…Miller and chapman are the best lefty bullpen options in the game, and if I had 1.7 mill stubs would not hesitate…and I think 99 goose gossage is the best righty…I also have kenley, but he’s fairly similar to Rivera

Yep, agree completely. Worth the purchase. I never have more than 400k because I love to shop for players but if I had 1.7, Miller and Chapman would be my first two targets with Musial next. I say go for it. Maybe get a killer lefty to mix I with all the righties like Harper, Brett or Musial. I know Mantle and Adley are switch hitters but that's just me being super picky. It is hard to make meaningful tweaks to the one man God Squad at this stage.

If I had to narrow it down to two purchases I would do Miller and Gossage. Swap Hoffman/ Williams for Miller and then replace the 95 Gossage with the 99. That gives you 2 lefties in the pen and then a better version of Gossage. If you want a lineup tweak I would add a lefty for a touch more balance, or more specifically move Mantle to 3rd and then Vlad sr 4th and Vlad jr 5th it keeps a little more speed at the top of the line up
