Frustrating (sorry)

Don't know what happened, but I can't hit a [censored] thing tonight. And of course it doesn't help having to face 102 with 20mph differential, but still, I usually don't suck this bad.
Just tired of playing games with everything right on the black. It's not fun, and it's not baseball simulation. Why does hitting have to be soooo hard? And why does every pitch have a [censored] sinker or outlier?
Sorry guys, like I said it's just frustrating sometimes. Can't wait for bf 2042. Not saying I won't still play mlb but it would be a nice break.

Haha it does. I watch real baseball at night and it gets me competitive juices flowing so I turn on a the game. And even if I win its 9 innings of 5 total hits and the winning team scores 2 runs usually. Boooo!!
BR is a life savor but I usually beat the program within a week. Somtimes the events are good, this one sucks tho.
Just give us another moonshot sds, yall made hitting so hard and pitching so easy it's unenjoyable, let us have fun!!!

This is why I don't play offline unless its necessary for a program or something. The pitch speeds are so slow and don't reflect online speeds. It took me a full game on hof today to get the all star events and rookie/veteran offline garbage out of my system. Conquest hurts more than it helps if you want to be competitive and make WS.

If hof and legend are too hard thats why there's events and BR. Tbey can't make all star difficulty universal. It would be ridiculous and too high scoring for the elite players that hit 1,000 rating amd up every season.

I might cave in and buy 2k. I haven't bought it in a few years but it might be fun to start a new grind. The pitchers have just gotten to good. I really think I could make ws if I hit a decent stride, but not now that everyone is fielding 99s and the common folk have moved on. Next year I'll make a huge push for ws before everyone is goated.

They don’t need to make all star universal. They need to not drop outlier pitchers with 125 h/9 and pinpoint command
Exactly. It's not the command, and it's not the velo. It's the ability to spot any pitch exactly out of the zone. To where the ball it tickling the zone. Every. Single. Time.
And sinkers need to be reworked. Honestly I would rather win/lose 8-7 than 1-0 or 1-2

That would be nice. I've noticed that the sliders are different even for modes within DD. A moment will be on rookie and say to get 8 total bases, it's a struggle even with good cards. However when i play conquest on rookie, and I try to pad the stats almost my entire team will have 8 total bases, hell even on veteran.

It’s rare that I pitch a gem and think “I earned that and had a blast.” I usually think “I just struck this dude out 17 times because my pitcher throws 102 mph dots and perfect cutters/sliders” add the stamina being glitched and my bullpen has a combined like 40 innings all year

Lol yeah I can't seem to parallel my relievers because I never need them. And I agree, 102 mph fastballs then 80 mph changeups that levitate in the zone 90% of their flight then drop like a 12-6 in the dirt. Or a slider that hangs dead center then cuts 6 inches off the plate towards the hitter.

It’s 100% the location for me. Everyone who has played since launch has mastered pinpoint(especially with the 4seam/sinker/cutter being the easiest pitch to execute) and it makes it extremely difficult to hit consistently

Ok we have ask for pitching to matter and finally we can pitch. But here is the problem, I faced degrom in my first ranked game in a month and a half. I won but his energy was at half with 100 pitches in the 8th inning. Stamina is broke, plus as a pitcher tires , his velocity should drop off but it doesn’t in this game. But also timing windows are broke, and can vary inning to inning. SDS has a long way to go, because it seems they can’t provide a game that plays well in every facet. This year pitching is king.

The Forum can push for whatever they want but the Forum is probably less than 1% of the player base. They will never do universal-pitch speeds it would ruin the game.
