Doing the John Olerud Daily where I need 8 Total Bases.
Up for my 4th AB in the bottom of the 7th. So far I've hit a single in the 3rd (1st AB), a single in the 4th (2nd AB), and a single in the 6th (3rd AB).
However, when I go into the Box Score it says that I am 3-5 with 2 HRs and a double.
Awesome quality control.
Naturally, I hit a single in my 4th AB and failed even though the end of game screen said I was 4-6 with 2 HRs and 2 doubles.

I got it my second attempt. Just put the PCI low in the zone and power swung.
Ironically, the second attempt I started off in the 1st inning.

I also noticed that sometimes when you view the card, by holding R2, the type of 'hitting' changes each AB.
I noticed this when I was doing the Damon Moments. One AB it said the card was Contact. The next it said it was Balanced.

That's just a visual glitch. Ignore it and move on it means nothing.

Different pitcher? he could be one vs one hand and the other vs the other.

I am falling behind. I went in to the Daily moments screen yesterday and saw that two of the three were 8 total base moments and the third was a longer pitching moment.
I exited the game and went back to my second play through of Ghost of Tsushima

The pitchers' handedness changed! Went from batting against a RHP to a LHP (or vice versa).
