Another thing that is not ok with me

I decide to play vs cpu to get TN k’s.
I retire the first hitter. Then Jorge Mateo, Mr 99 speed 79 steal, bunts right in front of home plate and Tyler Stephenson of course can’t throw him out at first.
Then Jorge steals second with an unholy jump.
Then of course, Tyler Stephenson drops a cutter and Jorge advances to third beating the throw.
Now we all know how difficult it is to steal bases in this game.
The whole “cpu is going to manufacture a run now” is just infuriating. It is such obvious programming that has absolutely nothing to do with my input. I am probably going to put up like 12 runs in this game. Why does this need to be part of the game?
I couldn’t make this stuff up. After I get out of that jam, the cpu Cedric Mullins robs Tommy Pham of a home run in CF.
Then the next time Mateo comes up, he hits a no pci broken bat comebacker to the pitcher. Safe again of course. This time he also reaches second because Charlie Morton threw the ball into the dugout.
Charlie K’s Mullins and then Mountcastle hits a perfect input split finger up the middle to score two before being tagged out a second.
Now, yes, all this stuff happens in real baseball. Sort of. And yes, the throwing error is on me because I was not using button accuracy.
Nevertheless, this is not the gameplay experience I am looking for. I am not hoping every single time I fire up MLB the Show that there is a riveting close game to persevere through until the opposing pitcher confidence is low enough that I score a ton of runs.

I've had games vs CPU O's on rookie and just watch Mullins make flying/diving catches like he's Superman and the next AB has him scaling 14' wall like he's Spiderman to rob a HR!

Yup. Never play the show when you’re hungry.
I got like 18 strikeouts. With potm cards. NOT TN cards.
️Time to take a break.
Apologies for the hangry rant.
