Online Rated Hitting Difficulties

I play on All-Star and was wondering if you get matched up with people who play on the same difficulty level. Just finished a game where I feel like my opponent had to have been on Rookie or Veteran. Just kept hitting pitches for homers that made no sense. Curious to see if anyone else has had this experience.

no it is set to same difficulty, play on HOF more skill based
