Hey SDS, C'Mon Man!!!

SDS

So I'm in a tight ball game, it's tied and he has the bases loaded with nobody out.

I bring my infield IN, because I can't afford to let him score on a ground ball, so I know automatically that my only play is home to first for the double play.

Sure enough he hits a ground ball to my 3rd baseman, which right before he gets it, I'm already pressing and holding 'X' waiting for the meter to quickly appear so that I can release a "green metered" throw to home, then to first for the double play...except that as soon as he fields it, the game takes control and on its own begins running towards 3rd base for the force out overriding and completely ignoring the fact that I had already anticipated throwing it home, subsequently allowing the runner on 3rd to score.

LOL Are you serious?! So now the game is going to decide for me and make plays on its own, despite the fact that my User Settings is suppose to prevent that from happening? I mean, what's the point of playing if you're going to hold the opponent's hand to victory and completely disregard user input? What a great frustration starter...it's ridiculous and laughable.

SDS

I’m not sure if it’s holding the opponents hand do victory but I agree there is some really dumb programming things that need to fixed. I’ve had similar to what you described happen with fielding seeming to be automated and base running the same. I lost a good br run when I hit deep fly ball with runners on first and second. I wasn’t planning on tagging up so I didn’t touch anything. My guy on first went halfway and my guy on second tagged. When the ball was caught my runner on second broke for third and made it but my guy that went halfway just took off for second and I got doubled up to end a run. Again I touched no buttons.

SDS

Chalk up another W for little Billy.

Game is scripted.

SDS

Had this happen in conquest, man on 1st 0 outs, ball hit to 1st throw to 2nd to start a 3-6-3 but 1B takes ball the 10 ft to bag and then throws, turning 2nd into a tag play.

Game is literally doing whatever it wants.

its a joke right now out there - best thing to do small doses right now of the game until SDS wakes up

SDS

I lost a 9-0 BR game to something similar, after my opponent received 2 early okay hits. I had 1 out and man on 2nd and 3rd. I threw a pitch in the dirt and the ball went 2 feet from JT Realmuto, I preloaded the throw to home since he started running home. The game overrode my throw and JT decided to just stand there and let the run score. Then of course the next pitch was a 2 run homer and i ended up losing my 12-0 chance. Not saying that i would have won my next two games but i can assure you that the AI had something to do with JT not throwing the ball to the pitcher covering home.

SDS

I started my March to October with the Rangers. The first 4 ground balls double plays hit to my second baseman all resulted in errors. It’s a joke.

SDS

LMAO, hilarious.

OK now this has happened to me more than a few times.

Specifically on pickle plays.... had a runner caught in between 2nd and 3rd, threw to my 3rd baseman, then immediately did a 'fake throw' to have the runner turn around and run into me, except that after doing the fake throw, my 3rd baseman just stood there 'frozen' preventing me to run him down. So while waiting for him, he turned back around towards 2nd base again, and I did another 'fake throw' while I was frozen, he then turned around towards me at 3rd base, and again, I couldn't move, still frozen, only thing I could do with my frozen player was either make a throw or fake a throw, so again, he turned back around towards 2nd base, except this time, I waited a little bit for him to get closer to 2nd and actually threw the ball, which my 2nd baseman was able to finally run him down and tag him out. Wow, all that, for that?! Hey SDS, Cmon Man!!!
